Welcome to my Piano Studio!

I am looking forward to the time that we will be spending together.  I graduated from the University of Denver Lamont School of Music with a Bachelor of Art’s Degree in Music in 1995 where I had a music scholarship to study the piano and the flute.  I have had 10 + years experience in teaching children and adults to play the piano in various areas around the Denver Metropolitan area.  I was classically trained since I was about 6 years old and have competed in numerous competitions prior to my studies at DU.  I was also principal flutist with Colorado Christian University’s Wind Ensemble.In addition, I spent the summer of 1991 as a camp counselor at Interlochen Arts Camp in Michigan.   There, I had the privilege of helping my campers grow in their musical abilities.  My inspiration comes from my grandmother who encouraged me to grow in my music to my full potential. My students enjoy recitals and especially like the Halloween recital where they get to come dressed in their favorite costume, play spooky songs, and eat gooey treats.   

Above all else I love to have fun with my students.
